On Friday, November 1st, 5th Avenue had the pleasure of performing at the wedding of Emily and James Pietz at the stunning venue, Union Trust, located in downtown Philadelphia.
This exciting wedding was a fireworks show from beginning to end. The bridal party introductions were made to the irresistable sounds of Cant Stop The Feeling, Justin Timberlake and then went into the soulful sounds of Your love Keeps Lifting Me Higher by Jackie Wilson as Emily and James entered the room and descended the dramatic stairway from the balcony. When the happy couple hit the dance floor, huge 9 foot sparklers shot up from the dance floor and balcony!! Incredible!! After a sultry first dance to Let’s Stay Together, Marvin Gaye. The entire dance floor was filled as everyone got down to classic EWF and MJ with September and The Way you Make Me Feel.
After the mini dance set, heartfelt toasts were given by the Father of the Bride, Best Man and Matron of Honor. The main course was served soon after followed by the emotional Father/Bride dance to the lovely song, I Loved Her First by Heartland. One of the most memorable moments of the night was the “family dance”. It was wonderful to see all of the immediate family dance together to My Wish, Rascal Flatts.
Then the members of 5th Avenue really kicked it into gear and kept the dance floor packed all night with the vocal talents of Zahmu Sankofa, Ramona Hunter, Brian DiBiagio and Lee Mo!!
We would like to thank Thomas Fowler of Finley Catering, Photographer – Colleen Stephanian and the staff of Union Trust for their expertise and hospitality making this wedding truly spectacular.
